Our FREE signature 3-hour (11 km) guided ramble, is a must for any day visitor, we will explore lesser known aspects of the city's history, culture and literary significance. Walking into semi-rural countryside, we take in views of the city and learn why its georgaphy made it so desirable for the Romans, Saxons and Normans. The ramble visits some hidden gems, including a holy well and the beautiful River Stour, before proceeding back to the city centre. Pilgrim's Progress

Join us for the Pilgrim's Progress, a captivating Canterbury Trails walk tracing an ancient, historic route from Chilham back to Canterbury. Our journey begins at Canterbury West rail station. From here, we will catch a train together to our starting point in Chilham. The guided walk itself is completely free to attend, though clients are responsible for purchasing their own train fares. Exploring Chilham Upon arrival, we will first spend some time taking in the picturesque, medieval charm of Chilham village before setting out on foot. Leaving the village behind, we will join the historic Pilgrims' Way. This extraordinarily scenic route takes us high above the magnificent Stour Valley, offering panoramic views as we ramble through traditional Kentish fruit farms and tranquil, ancient woodland. As we draw closer to our final destination, the trail guides us past a fascinating Iron Age hill fort and the renowned holy well in the village of Harbledown. Following in the footsteps of centuries of travellers, our magnificent walk finally concludes as we descend into the historic heart of Canterbury. Ready to step back in time? Stour Valley Trail

Stour Valley Trail

Join us on a FREE picturesque 13km Canterbury Trails walking adventure, tracing the scenic route from Grove Ferry back to the historic heart of Canterbury. Our journey begins at the iconic Buttermarket. From there, we will walk together to the Canterbury Bus Station to catch public transport out to our starting point in Upstreet. Please note that the bus fare is not included and must be covered at the client’s own expense (payable in £). Alighting in Upstreet, our walk officially commences via Grove Ferry as we join the renowned Stour Valley Walk. Our first major highlight is the incredibly pretty village of Stodmarsh. Here, we will take time to admire its tiny but beautiful historic church and soak in the charm of a truly traditional English pub. Leaving Stodmarsh behind, the trail winds its way through spectacular rolling countryside before descending into a lush, wooded valley. This scenic path leads us directly to Fordwich, famous for holding the title of England’s smallest town. We will make our second scheduled stop here, giving you ample time to explore its quaint town hall, historic church, and perhaps visit the local village pub. Following a well-earned rest in Fordwich, we will embark on the final leg of our trek, walking the remaining distance back to Canterbury. Our memorable 13km journey officially concludes in the bustling city centre, leaving you perfectly placed to enjoy the rest of your day.
