Meeting and Departure Our journey begins at Canterbury West rail station. From here, we will catch a train together to our starting point in Chilham. The guided walk itself is completely free to attend, though clients are responsible for purchasing their own train fares. Exploring Chilham Upon arrival, we will first spend some time taking in the picturesque, medieval charm of Chilham village before setting out on foot. The Pilgrims' Way Leaving the village behind, we will join the historic Pilgrims' Way. This extraordinarily scenic route takes us high above the magnificent Stour Valley, offering panoramic views as we ramble through traditional Kentish fruit farms and tranquil, ancient woodland. Historic Landmarks As we draw closer to our final destination, the trail guides us past a fascinating Iron Age hill fort and the renowned holy well in the village of Harbledown.
