Our free signature 3-hour (11 km) walk is a must for any day visitor who wishes to be a little more adventurous! Taking in the historic city centre, we will explore lesser known aspects of the city's history, culture and literary significance. Walking into semi-rural countryside, we take in views of the city and learn why it's geography made it so desirable for the Romans, Saxons and Normans. The walks visits some hidden gems, including a holy well and the beautiful River Stour, before proceeding back to the city centre.
